What cage is right for a pet Collared aracari?

The biggest and the best you can buy! And you will buy the biggest and best you can buy. Everyone does. I’ve never met anyone who pinched a penny when it came to their pet.

When it comes to providing a home for your pet Collared aracari, the sky really is the limit. However, if you’re like me, and the garden-God’s-given-you won’t accommodate an immense, lushly planted, walk-through aviary like those at the San Diego Zoo, or the Dallas World Aquarium, then consider the following.

Minimum Indoor Cage Requirements:

Bars
Any thickness, with no more than a ½ inch separation
Interior Dimensions
3 feet tall, 3 feet wide, 20 inches deep

Sleeping Box

Conure size nest box

Enrichment

Multiple perches for hopping

Anything better than these “minimum requirements” is going to be better for your bird.
